The Proposal

April 28, 2015; the best day of my life. On this day, the one I always knew I wanted to spend the rest of forever with, asked me to marry him. We were in beautiful Cabo San Lucas, Mexico celebrating my brother in law’s 30th birthday. Josh took me down to the beach and we stared out at the beautiful sunset and crashing waves. I remember it like it was yesterday. As we were taking in all the beauty that surrounded us, he grabbed me by the waist, pulled me in tight and whispered “the reason I brought you here is..”. I looked up at him and knew something was going on. I turned around with the most shocked face to find cameras out and that’s when I knew this was it. I knew this was the day that I had been dreaming about for the past nine years of our lives. He got down on one knee and with the sweetest most loving voice, asked if I would marry him. My eyes filled with the happiest of tears and I was left speechless. Literally. Everything couldn’t have played out more perfectly.

Words don’t do this beautiful day any justice. Luckily my brother in law, Travis Clark, and his best friend, Charles Trippy, recorded it all on video (thanks guys!). I wanted to share that special day with you all. Each time I watch this video, I get butterflies in my stomach all over again. Words can’t describe how much this man means to me. November 5, 2016 is when we will join hands in marriage and that day can’t come soon enough.
